This is what devotees have always wanted: a way to connect and support each other as a community.
But let's be honest. Our time is limited. Many of us live far apart. And sometimes we don't have the skills or capacity to care for others. Many of us have felt the pressure to help when we're already stretched, or taken on more than we could handle. Some of us have expected others to care when they weren't able to.
Here's what the Timebank offers: a way to give what you can, when you can, without obligation. You decide what support you want to offer. You set your own boundaries. You ask for help when you need it. No guilt. No overcommitting.
Meeting online is nothing new. This is a realistic and practical way to support each other, wherever we are.
Temple residents and those who work there have support needs, too. Whether you live in a temple or independently, you can offer and receive through the Timebank. This connects the whole devotee community.
Once you register, you'll receive support documents covering safeguarding, service agreements, and guidance on knowing your limits. These aren't bureaucracy. They're practical tools to help devotees support one another responsibly.
Looking for practical support or guidance? Easier Life Timebank connects devotees for skill-sharing and mutual help.
Hare Krishna,
My name is Chaitanya Jivan Das. Having served as a former resident and Healthcare Coordinator at Bhaktivedanta Manor, UK, I understand the importance of a strong, interconnected devotee community.
That’s why I’m launching Easier Life Timebank, a community-driven platform where devotees can share skills, exchange time, and support each other practically and spiritually.
Easier Life Timebank fulfils a long-standing need: a more interconnected, supportive devotee community.

How It Works and What It Costs
Please note: This is currently the entry-level platform. The timebank software company will be discontinuing this version from March next year. We will then transition to the upgraded platform, which has the same layout with additional features listed below.
Here's the offer: If we reach 100 registered members who have posted their offers or requests by the end of February 2026, I will pay the £2,250 annual subscription fee for the first year of the upgraded platform.
Why 100?
Because that gives me confidence that the Timebank is something devotees want, it creates enough members for exchanges actually to happen.
It means Year 2 costs can be shared across the membership at £22.50.
The lower cost Timebank platform tiers:
- The New Entry level is £500; the membership number is not a hard limit yet.
- Innovator: up to 3,000 registered end users
- Enterprise: up to 12,000 registered end users
The £500.00 New Entry level is being introduced this year. It will not have the features of the Easier Life Timebank as you see it now.
So, to reiterate, as there have been some changes since I launched this Timebank, the cost for the Timebank Easier Life Timebank as you see it now would cost £2,250 per annum, which I could cover through the following year. Members pay a subscription fee of £22.50.
This is a significant investment. I'm ready to make it, but I need to see that the community is behind it first. I've created this Timebank because I value our devotee community as you do. Reaching that number shows me that commitment is shared.
- Without 100 members by then, I won't be able to take the existing Timebank forward.
I may then decide to continue with the New Entry level £500, as the membership number on a new platform created by the Timebank company is not a hard limit yet.

So let’s get on board and keep this existing Easier Life Timebank going.
Group leaders, this is where you come in. Many of you already lead communities of devotees and have always wanted to empower those you care for to support each other. The Timebank does precisely that.
It's peer-led and decentralised. Devotees connect and exchange directly with each other, which takes some of the weight off your shoulders. Your posts and word of mouth can accelerate this. Please share the Timebank with your groups and help us get there by the end of January 2026. The more voices spreading the word, the faster we build something that benefits everyone. Your participation now will ensure the community thrives and that we can also lead the way for other Timebanks.

Talent Timebanking Glossary
48 Countries have Timebanks with 500,000+ members worldwide.
The Timebank is a platform through which devotees can offer and exchange anything they wish. You decide what you bring to the community.
To give you a sense of what's possible, I've created a page of examples and inspiration covering support across every stage of life:
Parenting guidance. Elder care (you know if they're alone and how much they'd appreciate a 15-minute call to see how they are). Help moving house. DIY and gardening. IT support. Legal advice. Counselling and mentorship. Homeschooling support. Help preparing to leave this world as a Vaishnava.
These are just examples showing the scope of what could be offered. This is a community initiative. We are only as able as those who present their time and skills. Whatever you can offer, someone needs it. Whatever support you need, someone can help.
Browse the complete list: Activities - Inspiration & Examples.
The main thing is not to feel you have to get into anything you don't want to. You can offer or request whatever you like. And even if someone responds to your offer, you reserve the right to say no. You can say, 'Sorry, we did have that as an offer, but we're not in a position to help for the time being.'
You may remain on the Timebank for some time, and yet no one takes up your offer or request. That's how it is at this stage, given how few members there are to begin with. But devotees are community creators and builders; eventually, it comes together.
What you would get with the Upgraded Platform at the Innovator level.
Capacity for 3,000 members – A much wider devotee community with which to exchange services.
Two ways to exchange. The Timebank offers free time-based exchanges starting at 15 minutes. All time is valued equally, regardless of the service. But that's not all. You can also list your business or professional services for paid work within the devotee community.
Promote your business to fellow devotees. Whether you're a tradesperson, teacher, therapist, cook, designer, or run any other service, you can advertise directly to a community that already shares your values. Paid listings sit alongside free Timebank exchanges, giving members flexibility in how they offer and receive services.
- Example: Business & Service Listings
In addition to this Timebank platform: - Example: Team Collaboration Features – Tools to make organising Projects and Initiatives seamless and efficient.
Flexible Membership
- Members can cancel their membership/subscription at any time.
- If a member cancels, they will no longer appear on the Timebank, though their profile will remain. They can rejoin without creating a new profile.
Tell Your Friends
Encouraging more devotees to join will reduce costs for everyone and ensure the Timebank remains affordable and sustainable.
A Community Effort
This is a devotee-led initiative, and it could be the first of many. Other devotee timebanks can follow the Easier Life example, using the same safeguarding guidance and protocols developed here. Timebanks can link together locally, nationally, and internationally, creating a much larger network of members, skills, and exchanges. What starts here could grow into something that serves devotees worldwide.
